Summer Happenings @ The Monkey & The Rat !
"LIVE AT THE MONKEY & THE RAT" CONCERT SERIES":
Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in August we will be hosting concerts, musical jams, presentations and interactive performances.
Our dear friend, Earl Marson, of Earl & The Reggae Allstars, will be our master of ceremonies and fun. We will be recording the whole time and plan to produce a CD soon after its completion. The CD will be used as a benefit for Ethos Music Center with 20% of sales going to this worthy organization.

All concerts will be held between 2-4pm.

MERCY CORP BENEFIT:
We are proud to announce that our MercyCorp benefit was successful in raising over $2,700.00 for our new neighbors in Old Town Chinatown!
With over 100 people attending, about 8 musicians, and lots of leftover Thai food, we celebrated. |

SUMMER STORE HOURS:
We have temporarily amended our store hours at both locations for the summer months.
We will be open 7 days a week at our Old Town location for the rest of July and August.
We have been keeping our doors open until 7pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
We will be staying open until 7pm on Tuesday evenings
while the Chinese Classical Garden's "Tuesdays by Twilight" Concert series is running.
As a reminder, if you are a member of the Chinese Garden, we offer a 5% discount on any purchase when you present your Membership Card.
As for Alberta Street, we have been staying open into the evening.
Our summer hours are:
Thursday - Friday 4-9pm
Saturday 11am-9pm
Sunday 11am-4pm.
We will be closed Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.
